Visa and residence permit

You can read more about other countries' passport and visa regulations here.

You must apply for a visa from home and no later than 48 hours before departure from the starting destination.

The Ugandan Immigration Offices is open to applications for visas and other immigration matters. If you are a tourist, or resident in Uganda, you can contact the offices of the Ugandan Immigration Offices from Monday-Friday, between 8:00 am - 02:00 pm.

Departure from Uganda

There are no longer any requirements for presenting a negative PCR test for outbound travellers at Entebbe International Airport.


Entry into Denmark

The embassy in Kampala cannot answer questions about entry into Denmark.

At coronasmitte.dk you can read about requirements for entry into Denmark.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot answer questions about entry or transit in Denmark. Such questions must be asked to the Police. You can find contact information and opening hours at coronasmitte.dk.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot answer health professional questions about coronavirus / COVID-19, vaccination or testing. Such questions must be asked to the joint government hotline. You can find contact information and opening hours at coronasmitte.dk.

Uganda Health Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Embassy do not advise on health professional issues but refer to the National Board of Health and Statens Serum Institut.
